After some careless play in the MANIACOS defense, Benja Dominguez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro González. The MANIACOS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro González should have stopped the shot. In the 17th minute Ilkay Gündoğan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Tuste saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute Ignacio Urtzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro González saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, MANIACOS's Pedro González got control of the ball when Ignacio Urtzi tried to sneak it across the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MANIACOS reached it. In the 40th minute, Gustavo Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Pedro González showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Rik in the 53rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Hurboc's Jacinto Tuste got control of the ball when Xzavion Leza tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 60 played minutes MANIACOS got a freekick which was hit by Argider Amigo. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Pedro González took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Ritchie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Leonardo Ritchie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro González was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. MANIACOS walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
