ForestFire's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tad Sierra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacinto Tuste made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lamar Knapp in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute Benja Dominguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reed Molina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 15 minutes, Charlton McDonough managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ForestFire's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charlton McDonough was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacinto Tuste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lamar Knapp, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Duncan Nichols recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Hurboc's goal looked a bit too open when Lamar Knapp came free, but Jacinto Tuste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ForestFire's Reed Molina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Ritchie in the 24th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tad Sierra during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th minute, Tad Sierra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 26 played minutes ForestFire got a freekick which was hit by Todd Mayes. After 30 minutes, Stan Sanford mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ForestFire and the Hurboc players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Gustavo Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Hurboc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Sancho couldn't finish the play. Reed Molina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardo Rik in the 33rd minute. In the 38th match minute, Hurboc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Sancho to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the game, Duncan Nichols was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ForestFire's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hurboc the free kick. After 41 played minutes ForestFire got a freekick which was hit by Duncan Nichols. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Reed Molina successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 46th match minute, Hurboc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Urtzi to maneuver through the defense. Jacinto Tuste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lamar Knapp, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
When Bernardo Rik fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hurboc's protests and gave Bernardo Rik a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Hurboc getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Bernardo Rik hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Hurboc's Benja Dominguez got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After 56 played minutes Hurboc got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Iago. A hard shot 58 in the game by Charlton McDonough from a close distance when the talented Jacinto Tuste managed to make a qualified save. Hurboc's players were relieved. Ignacio Urtzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reed Molina having to interfere. In the 60th minute Bernardo Rik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reed Molina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 66 played minutes ForestFire got a freekick which was hit by Duncan Nichols. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Ritchie in the 67th minute of play forced ForestFire's goalkeeper Reed Molina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ForestFire's Reed Molina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Rik in the 69th minute of play. Ben Gilliam was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 72 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute, one of ForestFire:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ForestFire. A collision led to ForestFire getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Brad Brock hit a great ball. After 77 played minutes, Hurboc's Gustavo Sancho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Reed Molina came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hurboc reached it. In the 78th minute, Leonel Abaunza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacinto Tuste made an important save on a dangerous shot by Charlton McDonough in the 86th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Duncan Nichols notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Hurboc's Jacinto Tuste. Jacinto Tuste was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Duncan Nichols managed to get in a good position for a shot. ForestFire's supporters rose to their feet, but Duncan Nichols was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacinto Tuste breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Reed Molina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Rik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ForestFire walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
