Navalito's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Navalito's Romeo Jurado got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Navalito's zone, João Casado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Ignacio Grove came out of the goal and João Casado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Romeo Jurado fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Navalito's protests and gave Romeo Jurado a yellow card for diving instead. Romeo Jurado kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Xaiver Besa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Prod'Homme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabiano Infante hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Juan Ignacio Grove showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Dinamite, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After 37 played minutes, Suprs Academia's Fabiano Infante shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Juan Ignacio Grove came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Suprs Academia reached it. Xaiver Besa might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miguel Prod'Homme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xaiver Besa ran back to his position shaking his head. 38 minutes into the match, Suprs Academia's goal looked a bit too open when Xaiver Besa came free, but Miguel Prod'Homme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lorencio Winter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Prod'Homme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xaiver Besa, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 44 minutes into the match, Navalito's goal looked a bit too open when João Casado came free, but Juan Ignacio Grove reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Navalito getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Lorencio Winter hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romeo Jurado to make the kick off. Juan Ignacio Grove made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when João Casado sent off a good shot on target. After 55 played minutes Suprs Academia got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Abrantes. After having played for 55 minutes, Gert Luijpers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Navalito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gert Luijpers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Suprs Academia's goalkeeper Miguel Prod'Homme, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 60 played minutes Navalito got a freekick which was hit by Gert Luijpers. Juan Ignacio Grove made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robert Dinamite in the 62nd minute. A collision led to Suprs Academia getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Virgílio Amaro hit a great ball. Juan Ignacio Grove made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Amílcar Leiria sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Suprs Academia's zone, Xaiver Besa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Prod'Homme came out of the goal and Xaiver Besa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Navalito's Maurín Costabal was substituted for Paulo José Carioca. Navalito made a substitution. Elazar Cacho replaced Lorencio Winter. Miguel Prod'Homme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xaiver Besa in the 73rd minute of the match. Navalito's Juan Ignacio Grove proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Navalito from getting a goal against them. After 90 played minutes Navalito got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Jurado. In the 91st minute of the match Fabiano Infante shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juan Ignacio Grove showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
