Ferdinand Petre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Purcaresti CSS's Ştefan Vârlan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Purcaresti CSS from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Purcaresti CSS booed when Errecaborda AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florencio Osoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ştefan Vârlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Sandalio, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Errecaborda AFC's Igor Ralondo got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucio Faro's late challenge caught a Purcaresti CSS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucio Faro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Errecaborda AFC's Lucio Faro got a free kick in the 89th minute. Purcaresti CSS were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after Errecaborda AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ferdinand Petre took the corner. Gustavo Sauveur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valer Șişman, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Errecaborda AFC had won after a very even match.
