The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, The Wolfpack™'s Jesper Svensson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ştefan Vârlan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Angelino Leobardo ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 9th play minutes Jesper Svensson shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Ştefan Vârlan and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 14th minute, Avram Ciprian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 17 played minutes Jesper Svensson rounded Purcaresti CSS's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelian Stanciu in the 20th minute of play forced The Wolfpack™'s goalkeeper Josef Biehl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jiang Jun Le fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ştefan Vârlan having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesper Svensson in the 23rd minute of play forced Purcaresti CSS's goalkeeper Ştefan Vârlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ştefan Vârlan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jesper Svensson went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After 43 played minutes The Wolfpack™ got a freekick which was hit by Angelino Leobardo. With a little luck, Purcaresti CSS's Ştefan Vârlan got control of the ball when Sam Huveneers tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferdinand Petre got free with Josef Biehl in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 77th minute, Paraskevas Apostolakos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 78 minutes, Jiang Jun Le mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Wolfpack™ and the Purcaresti CSS players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Purcaresti CSS booed when The Wolfpack™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jiang Jun Le didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jesper Svensson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Ştefan Vârlan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ştefan Vârlan came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by The Wolfpack™'s Jesper Svensson. But to his dismay, Jesper Svensson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. The supporters of Purcaresti CSS booed when The Wolfpack™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karel-Jan Van den Maegdenbergh didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute of the match Ferdinand Petre shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Josef Biehl showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Wolfpack™'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
