In the 2nd minute, Jim-André Nybakken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 3rd minute, Marian Niedzwiecki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KN ZGORZELEC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Niedzwiecki in the 8th minute of play forced Daustad's goalkeeper Erik Grøneng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When KN ZGORZELEC's Tolek Sniegowski in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Daustad's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tolek Sniegowski in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erik Grøneng prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 16 played minutes KN ZGORZELEC got a freekick which was hit by Cezary Czysty. Boruc Drab stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arne Hageland's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 20th minute, Antoni Pisarczyk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the game, KN ZGORZELEC's Marian Niedzwiecki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erik Grøneng made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 25 minutes into the game, Albert Teige threw the ball into play from the sideline. KN ZGORZELEC's Antoni Pisarczyk quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Antoni Pisarczyk kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute Arne Hageland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boruc Drab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 minutes, Tage Kvammen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Daustad and the KN ZGORZELEC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd minute, Tage Kvammen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erik Grøneng had in the 44thth minute some difficulties stopping Marian Niedzwiecki's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Tolek Sniegowski hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tolek Sniegowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Tolek Sniegowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 51st match minute, Daustad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tage Kvammen to maneuver through the defense. Erik Grøneng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marian Niedzwiecki in the 52nd minute of the match. 52 minutes into the match, Marian Niedzwiecki notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Daustad's Erik Grøneng. Erik Grøneng was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marian Niedzwiecki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erik Grøneng read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Erik Grøneng stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marian Niedzwiecki's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. In the 66th minute, Tolek Sniegowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute, Marian Niedzwiecki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The throw-in from Albert Teige in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by KN ZGORZELEC's Cezary Czysty. Erik Grøneng made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Marian Niedzwiecki sent off a good shot on target. Marian Niedzwiecki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Erik Grøneng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marian Niedzwiecki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute Marian Niedzwiecki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Grøneng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erik Grøneng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tolek Sniegowski in the 91st minute. When Tolek Sniegowski got free in front of the goal in the 91st minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Erik Grøneng was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Boruc Drab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arne Hageland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Daustad's Arne Hageland in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KN ZGORZELEC's goalie prevented a goal. The KN ZGORZELEC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing KN ZGORZELEC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
