When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Gyula Hajnal took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Efe Akşit to make any attempt to save it. Nae Amuguroancei hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Eugen Tripon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efe Akşit having to interfere. With a little luck, 1930 Bafraspor's Efe Akşit got control of the ball when Dorel Banu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edgar Vrânceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abu Sap in the 21st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Eugen Tripon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Efe Akşit was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. 29 minutes into the match, Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Nae Amuguroancei sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Efe Akşit narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The 1930 Bafraspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Efe Akşit should have stopped the shot. A wasted opportunity for Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely. 88 minutes into the match, Gyula Hajnal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Efe Akşit. 1930 Bafraspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gyula Hajnal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. George Popescu kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, 1930 Bafraspor's Haldun Şömel got a free kick in the 95th minute. Efe Akşit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugen Tripon in the 96th minute of the match. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
