Daniel Schroeder made in the 7th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Hackspett U21's Kara Melo. A sloppy throw-in by Daniel Schroeder in the 9th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Hackspett U21's Kara Melo. Patrick Knechtli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miromir Szostak in the 11th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Olympique Fribourg's zone, Miromir Szostak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrick Knechtli came out of the goal and Miromir Szostak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Medero Gadea in the 13th minute of play forced FC Hackspett U21's goalkeeper Joachim Holmgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patrick Knechtli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miromir Szostak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miromir Szostak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patrick Knechtli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. If Raik Topuz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. But to his dismay, Miromir Szostak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 42nd minute, Miromir Szostak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patrick Knechtli was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 46th minute, Medero Gadea made a precise shot to the right of Joachim Holmgren. FC Hackspett U21's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andréas Strömberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Patrick Knechtli came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Hackspett U21's Miromir Szostak. But to his dismay, Miromir Szostak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. Patrick Knechtli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miromir Szostak in the 56th minute of play. After 57 minutes of play, FC Hackspett U21's Miromir Szostak made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patrick Knechtli was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Olympique Fribourg defense, Miromir Szostak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrick Knechtli. The Olympique Fribourg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrick Knechtli should have stopped the shot. Patrick Knechtli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miromir Szostak in the 63rd minute of play. In the 66th minute, Hernani Sabóia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Hackspett U21's Ye Feng Feng was substituted for Berend Hermensen. Olympique Fribourg's Marcellus Walpert was substituted for Daniel Schroeder. In the 68th minute, Hernani Sabóia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Hackspett U21's Joachim Holmgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save FC Hackspett U21 from getting a goal against them. Patrick Knechtli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miromir Szostak, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Olympique Fribourg's goal looked a bit too open when Miromir Szostak came free, but Patrick Knechtli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Hackspett U21's Joachim Holmgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raik Topuz in the 80th minute of play. Medero Gadea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Joachim Holmgren made a huge save. Andréas Strömberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Olympique Fribourg getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Marcellus Walpert hit a great ball. In the 89th minute of the match, Téo Savion got a very nice opportunity to score, but Joachim Holmgren was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A sloppy throw-in by Marcellus Walpert in the 91st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Hackspett U21's Luka Pirlo. If Miromir Szostak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joachim Holmgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gene Emmenegger, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
