After taking down the ball on Barcelona de América's corner Félix Torres fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sylwester Chazon quite easily take care of the ball. Lukasz Rekawiczka kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Lukasz Rekawiczka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sylwester Chazon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arévalo Miñaca in the 20th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arévalo Miñaca in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sylwester Chazon saved Pretoria Gostyń from getting behind. A collision led to Pretoria Gostyń getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Alfred Drapinski hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jérémy Sarmiento in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sylwester Chazon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 27 minutes into the match, Barcelona de América's Arévalo Miñaca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sylwester Chazon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sylwester Chazon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arévalo Miñaca, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Sylwester Chazon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arévalo Miñaca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barcelona de América's Emiliano Urbilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Barcelona de América from getting a goal against them. 38 minutes into the match, Pretoria Gostyń's goal looked a bit too open when Arévalo Miñaca came free, but Sylwester Chazon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Barcelona de América's Jesús Trindade was substituted for Bryant Oyola. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Piotr Jucha to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Pretoria Gostyń booed when Barcelona de América was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerson Cardoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sylwester Chazon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jérémy Sarmiento in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Jesús Trindade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jérémy Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Barcelona de América's Chico Abouza got a free kick in the 60th minute. Emiliano Urbilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludomir Posadzki in the 68th minute of play. After 69 played minutes Pretoria Gostyń got a freekick which was hit by Julian Biskupiak. Pretoria Gostyń's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Jérémy Sarmiento scored to the left of an out of position Sylwester Chazon, making the score, 0-1. Jérémy Sarmiento received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sylwester Chazon came out and tried to block the shot, but Jérémy Sarmiento slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 74th minute. If Piotr Jucha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arévalo Miñaca in the 83rd minute of play forced Pretoria Gostyń's goalkeeper Sylwester Chazon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Arévalo Miñaca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barcelona de América fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. When Félix Torres fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barcelona de América's protests and gave Félix Torres a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Barcelona de América getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Félix Torres hit a great ball. In the 90th minute, Félix Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Piotr Jucha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pretoria Gostyń's supporters rose to their feet, but Piotr Jucha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emiliano Urbilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Pretoria Gostyń's Alfred Drapinski got a free kick in the 94th minute. Chants of Barcelona de América echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Pretoria Gostyń had held the ball for most of the match.
