Sydney Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Gudmundsson in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Mansfield Town FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Vinhas came free, but Anders Utter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anders Utter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sandrinho Leite in the 8th minute. A collision led to Granadero10 getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Jairo Vinhas hit a great ball. Frans Blixt struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Sydney Barros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mansfield Town FC. Sydney Barros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emanuel Rosin went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Sydney Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Rosin in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, Granadero10 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Vinhas to maneuver through the defense. Anders Utter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandrinho Leite in the 22nd minute of play. Gilberto Trigo hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Sydney Barros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Michael Gudmundsson went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 31st match minute, Granadero10 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Vinhas to maneuver through the defense. Sydney Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Wennerquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 33rdth minute of the game Martin Wennerquist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Granadero10's Sydney Barros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vitório Ceresso kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Sydney Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Gudmundsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Michael Gudmundsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Willian Neves during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 51 played minutes Granadero10 got a freekick which was hit by Willian Neves. A hard shot by Ulf Brolin from long distance, 52 minutes into the match, got Sydney Barros's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 53 minutes into the match, Mansfield Town FC's Frans Blixt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sydney Barros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 54th minute, Laerte Soeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sydney Barros made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Ulf Brolin sent off a good shot on target. Sydney Barros had great luck who in the 56thth minute grab hold of the ball when Michael Gudmundsson from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 60th minute, Emanuel Rosin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mansfield Town FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Granadero10's Juan de Medeiros was substituted for Laerte Soeiro. When Frans Blixt came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Mansfield Town FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frans Blixt couldn't finish the play. Sydney Barros came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Mansfield Town FC's Emanuel Rosin. But to his dismay, Emanuel Rosin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 81st minute, Michael Gudmundsson made a precise shot to the right of Sydney Barros. Granadero10's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. In the 88th minute Joélson Sampaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Utter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute of the match Granadero10 got a corner. Mansfield Town FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alexsandro Cruz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jairo Vinhas kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Mansfield Town FC played a much better game than Granadero10 and deserved their victory. The Granadero10 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
