The audience thought a goal was coming when 盛世 Bati got free with Oscar Freire in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Harry Cool's Luck Locke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Fonseca in the 4th minute of play. Enrique Parada kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Oscar Freire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 盛世 Bati, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Leandro Fonseca charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leandro Fonseca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th match minute, Marquês de Herval was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. Luck Locke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfredo Domingues in the 20th minute of play. A collision led to Harry Cool getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Barnett Hickman hit a great ball. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Harry Cool's goalkeeper Luck Locke, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 盛世 Bati in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oscar Freire saved Marquês de Herval from getting behind. A collision led to Marquês de Herval getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Carlos Eduardo Martins hit a great ball. Oscar Freire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 盛世 Bati in the 33rd minute of play. A collision led to Harry Cool getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Carsyn Trims hit a great ball. Luck Locke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Magalhães, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute, Harry Cool's 盛世 Bati ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Oscar Freire. Oscar Freire yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 41 minutes of play Marquês de Herval's Leandro Fonseca was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Leandro Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The supporters of Harry Cool booed when Marquês de Herval was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Eduardo Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carver Hunter stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Manfredo Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Luck Locke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Carlos Eduardo Martins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck Locke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oscar Magalhães in the 62nd minute. In the 65th minute Oscar Magalhães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luck Locke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Marquês de Herval's goal looked a bit too open when 盛世 Bati came free, but Oscar Freire reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harry Cool's Bradley Durbridge was substituted for Carsyn Trims. An unexpectedly hard shot by 盛世 Bati in the 80th minute of play forced Marquês de Herval's goalkeeper Oscar Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck Locke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manfredo Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Marquês de Herval's Cícero Gaspar got a free kick in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Harry Cool's 盛世 Bati sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oscar Freire narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 94 minutes of play, Harry Cool's Carver Hunter made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oscar Freire was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Harry Cool players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
