The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Emil Genev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bud Weiser kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. When Anastas Viryanski came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the JET-M fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anastas Viryanski couldn't finish the play. Dorin Peter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tzanyo Kibarov in the 26th minute of play. Boyan Stumbov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ioan Andone in the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilijus Mileška in the 31st minute of play forced Juventus Țiu's goalkeeper Dorin Peter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dorin Peter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilijus Mileška, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dorin Peter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tzanyo Kibarov in the 35th minute of the match. After having played for 37 minutes, Jacek Lenertej managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JET-M's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacek Lenertej was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doru Baicu in the 41st minute of play forced JET-M's goalkeeper Boyan Stumbov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st match minute, JET-M was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Genev to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to JET-M getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Emil Genev hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Gigel Gologan made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Tzanyo Kibarov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Emil Genev was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 59 minutes had been played. A collision led to JET-M getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Emil Genev hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the game, Ioan Andone cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Boyan Stumbov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 63 minutes, Gigel Gologan made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. JET-M's Boyan Stumbov tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Juventus Țiu made a substitution. Vali Mitu replaced Ioan Andone. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigel Gologan in the 71st minute of play forced JET-M's goalkeeper Boyan Stumbov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, Antim Dzherekarov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
