Seating: 1786, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Flavio Orkatz kicked off to start the match. Apolo Horado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dejan Attard in the 4th minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Martin-Daniel Palermo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Clayton Gerada, passed just outside the right post. Vicente Valente kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Apolo Horado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from James Buttigieg in the 10th minute of the match. Wayne Schembri Zerafa hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute Shawn Seracino Inglott shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Horado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 played minutes Seraċini Għawdxin got a freekick which was hit by Richard Pavia. In the 20th minute Saturnino Bizi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clayton Gerada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, Enhebrator FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Francesco to maneuver through the defense. Apolo Horado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shawn Seracino Inglott, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Apolo Horado came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Seraċini Għawdxin's Shawn Seracino Inglott. But to his dismay, Shawn Seracino Inglott quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Valdomiro Velasco might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Apolo Horado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valdomiro Velasco ran back to his position shaking his head. Apolo Horado came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Seraċini Għawdxin's Valdomiro Velasco. But to his dismay, Valdomiro Velasco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 29th minute, Vicente Valente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute Shawn Seracino Inglott shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Horado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicente Valente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clayton Gerada having to interfere. After 37 minutes, Eustaquio George mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Enhebrator FC and the Seraċini Għawdxin players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Seraċini Għawdxin booed when Enhebrator FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustaquio George didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Enhebrator FC defense, Shawn Seracino Inglott kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Apolo Horado. The Enhebrator FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Apolo Horado should have stopped the shot. Apolo Horado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bjorn Cuschieri, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Dejan Attard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Apolo Horado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
Apolo Horado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dejan Attard in the 51st minute of play. After 53 minutes Enhebrator FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Victor Monreal who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Victor Monreal almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Enhebrator FC's Apolo Horado did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bjorn Cuschieri got free with Apolo Horado in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 68 minutes into the game, Paul-Henri Maldini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Enhebrator FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Seraċini Għawdxin the free kick. Seraċini Għawdxin made a substitution. Antoine Bugelli replaced Wayne Schembri Zerafa. In the 69th minute, Paul-Henri Maldini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Enhebrator FC's zone, Victor Monreal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apolo Horado came out of the goal and Victor Monreal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 71 played minutes Enhebrator FC got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Leocadio. Enhebrator FC's Paul-Henri Maldini got his second yellow card of the match in the 74th minute. The referee ordered Paul-Henri Maldini off the ground. After a rather tough play, Enhebrator FC's Paul-Henri Maldini got a free kick in the 74th minute. Bjorn Cuschieri struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Apolo Horado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Seraċini Għawdxin. Enhebrator FC's Apolo Horado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Enhebrator FC from getting a goal against them. In the 82nd minute Valdomiro Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Horado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Valdomiro Velasco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Apolo Horado. That made the score 1-4 in the 83 minute of play. In the 86th minute, one of Seraċini Għawdxin:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Seraċini Għawdxin. The referee gave Enhebrator FC a penalty, 88 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Martin-Daniel Palermo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Seraċini Għawdxin's Clayton Gerada. 2-4. Apolo Horado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bjorn Cuschieri in the 91st minute. Seraċini Għawdxin's Bjorn Cuschieri got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Clayton Gerada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Orkatz in the 96th minute of play. Seraċini Għawdxin's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
