In the 11th minute Arin Mndoyants shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedykt Olchowy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Levon Sarkisyan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Lizewski in the 13th minute of play. Levon Sarkisyan was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Aureliusz Fetor. In the 16th minute Izydor Jucha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Levon Sarkisyan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 21 minutes, Bernardo Caballero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Khachatryan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Caballero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arin Mndoyants blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benedykt Olchowy having to make a save. Benedykt Olchowy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arin Mndoyants, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Olimpia HSB's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Grigor Grigoryan was slow to take the kick. During this time Khachatryan's players had a chance to rest. A very nice done corner allowed Bernardo Caballero to score against Benedykt Olchowy in Olimpia HSB's goal. 0-3 after 31 minutes. Khachatryan's Grigor Grigoryan got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 41st minute, Bernardo Caballero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th minute, Hu Wei Shu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Khachatryan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

A hard shot 52 in the game by Hu Wei Shu from a close distance when the talented Benedykt Olchowy managed to make a qualified save. Olimpia HSB's players were relieved. A collision led to Olimpia HSB getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Aureliusz Fetor hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Arin Mndoyants's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benedykt Olchowy was relentless in the 54th minute of the game.
