An unexpectedly hard shot by Adilson Vides in the 56th minute of play forced Pegaso's goalkeeper Silverio Gonsalve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pegaso's Silverio Gonsalve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adilson Vides in the 58th minute of play. Silverio Gonsalve stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adilson Vides's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. A collision led to Pegaso getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Severiano Venceslas hit a great ball. In the 65th match minute, Pegaso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Valery to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Relyn Futebol Clube booed when Pegaso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Valery didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adilson Vides in the 72nd minute of play forced Pegaso's goalkeeper Silverio Gonsalve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baltasar Chap got free with Marcelo Toscano in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dinei Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. 97 minutes into the match, Pegaso's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Romero came free, but Silverio Gonsalve reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Pegaso supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pegaso would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
