In the 3rd match minute, Peace Home Street Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rutger Beck to maneuver through the defense. 8 minutes into the match, William Lundström notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Gothic Souls's Orhun İltemur. Orhun İltemur was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Gothic Souls getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Gökçen Cihaner hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, Peace Home Street Boys's goalkeeper Johnny Eskilsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paul Scholes. Gothic Souls's Orhun İltemur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Lundström in the 22nd minute of play. Johnny Eskilsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryan Giggs in the 26th minute of play. Johnny Eskilsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Figo, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Johnny Eskilsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryan Giggs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Peace Home Street Boys's Johnny Eskilsson got control of the ball when Paul Scholes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alvar Hedberg was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 41 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Peace Home Street Boys fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! If Viggo Björck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Björn Walmarsson made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Peace Home Street Boys's William Lundström got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Johnny Eskilsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oktay Duran in the 53rd minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Peace Home Street Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Scholes came free, but Johnny Eskilsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gothic Souls's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luis Figo in the 61st minute. After a rather tough play, Gothic Souls's Tugay Kerimoglu got a free kick in the 61st minute. 63 minutes into the match, Peace Home Street Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Tugay Kerimoglu came free, but Johnny Eskilsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gothic Souls's Luis Figo in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peace Home Street Boys's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Peace Home Street Boys defense, Paul Scholes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Johnny Eskilsson. The Peace Home Street Boys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Johnny Eskilsson should have stopped the shot. Peace Home Street Boys's Johnny Eskilsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Scholes in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Luis Figo notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Peace Home Street Boys's Johnny Eskilsson. Johnny Eskilsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 80 minutes into the match, Gothic Souls's goalkeeper Orhun İltemur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manfred Björnsson. After 86 played minutes Gothic Souls got a freekick which was hit by Özden Nesefi. Johnny Eskilsson came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Gothic Souls's Ryan Giggs. But to his dismay, Ryan Giggs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Gothic Souls's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
