Emerson Leão made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Brain Struik sent off a good shot on target. Nicolae Panciu was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 14 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Club Ibiza:s goal. Fabian Ioniță had in the 16thth minute some difficulties stopping Beliran Basanta's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Joško Gvardiol kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Emerson Leão made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Eliodor Arnăuțescu sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV booed when Club Ibiza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucho Bustamante didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beliran Basanta in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabian Ioniță prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Călin Pamfil got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 31st minute Tiberiu Filip shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emerson Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Brain Struik in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Emerson Leão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. When Tiberiu Filip came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiberiu Filip couldn't finish the play. Fabian Ioniță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucho Bustamante, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Fabian Ioniță didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucho Bustamante went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 73rd minute, Lidon Bernardo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fabian Ioniță. The goal made the score 2-2. 89 minutes into the match, Albino Ompanera dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fabian Ioniță, 2-4. After 95 minutes Club Ibiza's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eliodor Arnăuțescu who took care of the corner kick. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Eliodor Arnăuțescu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Emerson Leão in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
