The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the game, Edgar Davids was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gothic Souls's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bandelocos the free kick. After a rather tough play, Gothic Souls's Edgar Davids got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After a rather tough play, Gothic Souls's Bulut Taycan got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute, Betão Quirino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gothic Souls's Orhun İltemur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Guilherme Varela in the 7th minute of play. Rafael Sobis struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Orhun İltemur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bandelocos. In the 14th minute Rafael Sobis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orhun İltemur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Bandelocos's goalkeeper Nilson do Vale had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luis Figo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luis Figo in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nilson do Vale saved Bandelocos from getting behind. The Gothic Souls fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Gothic Souls's Luis Figo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 20 minutes into the match, Bandelocos's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Figo came free, but Nilson do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastião Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After 25 played minutes Bandelocos got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Moraes. Nilson do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Figo, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 30th minute of the match Gothic Souls got a corner. Bandelocos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aydın Secaat ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Gothic Souls's corner Aydın Secaat fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nilson do Vale quite easily take care of the ball. Orhun İltemur came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Bandelocos's Luiz Guilherme Varela. But to his dismay, Luiz Guilherme Varela quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Rafael Sobis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Orhun İltemur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 35 played minutes Gothic Souls got a freekick which was hit by Bulut Taycan. Nilson do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oktay Duran in the 39th minute of play. Orhun İltemur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Sobis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 played minutes Bandelocos got a freekick which was hit by Henry Tormes. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luis Figo was the one to do the kick off. Bandelocos's Nilson do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Figo in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute of the match, Rafael Sobis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Orhun İltemur saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gothic Souls's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sebastião Azevedo was slow to take the kick. During this time Bandelocos's players had a chance to rest. An unexpected shot in the 56th minute by Rafael Sobis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of Bandelocos booed when Gothic Souls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gökçen Cihaner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastião Azevedo got in the 58th minute the ball and tried a long shot which scored to the left of Orhun İltemur and thus it was 1-2. 61 minutes into the match, Bandelocos's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Scholes came free, but Nilson do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes into the game, Rafael Sobis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Orhun İltemur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nilson do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Figo in the 76th minute of play. With a little luck, Gothic Souls's Orhun İltemur got control of the ball when Sebastião Azevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Figo in the 79th minute of play forced Bandelocos's goalkeeper Nilson do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Aydın Secaat made a precise shot to the right of Nilson do Vale. Bandelocos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. The audience was convinced that Luis Figo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nilson do Vale was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. In the 93rd minute, Sebastião Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Gothic Souls booed when Bandelocos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivo Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bandelocos had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
