The goalkeeper, Yuri da Cunha, was totally fooled by POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's Hegoi Arbaiza, who 34 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 38 minutes into the match, POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's Soyuncu Carron sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yuri da Cunha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. It was a penalty for POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol! The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The supporters of Olivedos booed when POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. In spite of Patricio Toribia awareness of the shot he didn't succeed to stop the ball, and watched as it rolled inside the left pole. 1-2. In the 58th minute, Olivedos's Abel de Godoi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Patricio Toribia. Patricio Toribia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Perfecto Orgaz kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Theo van Persie hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute of the match, Ricardinho Vianna tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Patricio Toribia saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Severo Paton hit a great ball. After 69 played minutes POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol got a freekick which was hit by Severo Paton. Abel de Godoi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Patricio Toribia made a huge save. Téo Fernandez made in the 84th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Abel de Godoi. Olivedos's Yuri da Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guerau Villaescusa in the 92nd minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's goal looked a bit too open when Franklin dos Santos came free, but Patricio Toribia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Olivedos supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Olivedos would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
