With a little luck, Paralia Athens's Codrin Beraru got control of the ball when Krzysztof Sanocki tried to sneak it across the goal line. Colombain Parham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panait Marghescu in the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th match minute, Paralia Athens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Bornescu to maneuver through the defense. Codrin Beraru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eray Tur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Martin Arseni came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Paralia Athens fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Arseni couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Krzysztof Sanocki took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Codrin Beraru to make any attempt to save it. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Codrin Beraru successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 31st minute Cx AY YILDIZ T.I.M. Cx were awarded a corner. Yan Cordeiro went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Olivier Rogers managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Yao Chen Fei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Codrin Beraru having to interfere. In the 36th minute of the match, Eray Tur tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Codrin Beraru saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Panait Marghescu in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Colombain Parham saved Cx AY YILDIZ T.I.M. Cx from getting behind. Paralia Athens were furious when Cristian Urdeş was red carded, 39 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Paralia Athens fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! Codrin Beraru had in the 40thth minute some difficulties stopping Yan Cordeiro's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The corner led Cx AY YILDIZ T.I.M. Cx's Olivier Rogers to fire away a dangerous shot which Codrin Beraru despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Paralia Athens getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Silviu Filimon hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, Paralia Athens's goalkeeper Codrin Beraru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Krzysztof Sanocki. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Krzysztof Sanocki made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Panait Marghescu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Colombain Parham, 1-1. Codrin Beraru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krzysztof Sanocki in the 56th minute of play. Colombain Parham was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Pompiliu Barbăsură. 61 minutes into the match, Paralia Athens's Panait Marghescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Colombain Parham narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Paralia Athens booed when Cx AY YILDIZ T.I.M. Cx was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eray Tur didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Panait Marghescu got free with Colombain Parham in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cx AY YILDIZ T.I.M. Cx's goalkeeper Colombain Parham, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Codrin Beraru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krzysztof Sanocki, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 73 minutes into the match, Paralia Athens's goal looked a bit too open when Krzysztof Sanocki came free, but Codrin Beraru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olivier Rogers took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Codrin Beraru.
