Valery Abecia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 13th minute, Raimundo Giraldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Cresitobalo Abarca kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Damián Martínez. That made the score 1-1 in the 14 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Odol Abancens during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th minute, Odol Abancens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jairo Deunoro struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Valery Abecia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caballeritos del Baile. Valery Abecia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Deunoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 34 minutes into the game, one of Nacional Potosí:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Caballeritos del Baile's Damián Martínez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Caballeritos del Baile from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Nacional Potosí's zone, Jairo Deunoro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valery Abecia came out of the goal and Jairo Deunoro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tadeu Abeita hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half Caballeritos del Baile were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After some careless play in the Nacional Potosí defense, Jairo Deunoro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valery Abecia. The Nacional Potosí fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valery Abecia should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Nacional Potosí's zone, Jairo Deunoro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valery Abecia came out of the goal and Jairo Deunoro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65thth minute of the game Guillen Aballe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caballeritos del Baile's Damián Martínez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Caballeritos del Baile's goal looked a bit too open when Guillen Aballe came free, but Damián Martínez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jairo Deunoro hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Jairo Deunoro scored 1-4 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valery Abecia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelito Abadie during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Nacional Potosí getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Marcelito Abadie hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jairo Deunoro in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valery Abecia saved Nacional Potosí from getting behind. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Nacional Potosí lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
