Grigore Blăniță hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute of the match Nicanor Osoro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eustacio Sotero showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Eustacio Sotero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sture Stensson in the 25th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mihăiţă Jder during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Eintracht Cernavoda's Mihăiţă Jder got a free kick in the 27th minute. A collision led to Eintracht Cernavoda getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Grigore Blăniță hit a great ball. The supporters of Juoksengi booed when Eintracht Cernavoda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grigore Blăniță didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eintracht Cernavoda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sture Stensson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Roland Lindström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grigore Blăniță in the 44th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sture Göransson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Juoksengi's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Viorel Plăcintă was slow to take the kick. During this time Eintracht Cernavoda's players had a chance to rest. Eintracht Cernavoda made a substitution. Codrin Izbașa replaced Viorel Plăcintă. Roland Lindström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Codrin Izbașa in the 58th minute of play. Codrin Izbașa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland Lindström having to interfere. Sture Stensson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Eustacio Sotero made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codrin Izbașa in the 67th minute of play forced Juoksengi's goalkeeper Roland Lindström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eintracht Cernavoda's Gigel Tănăsocă was substituted for Grigore Blăniță. 72 minutes into the game, Grigore Boacă threw the ball into play from the sideline. Juoksengi's Yao Yang quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Grigore Boacă kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Roland Lindström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
