Renato Vidal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan-Olof Bergendahl in the 9th minute. Staffan Joensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Ove Tillman, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The supporters of Baxters Boys booed when FC Bors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Magne Ek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Renato Vidal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. FC Bors's Renato Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uzay Gencalp in the 17th minute of play. Uzay Gencalp was extremely unlucky when he, in the 21st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Gert Stenkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Ove Tillman in the 26th minute of play forced Baxters Boys's goalkeeper Staffan Joensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baxters Boys's Staffan Joensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Ove Tillman in the 27th minute of play. If Staffan Åman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Staffan Joensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gert Stenkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on FC Bors's corner Sven-Ove Tillman fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Staffan Joensson quite easily take care of the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Staffan Joensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gert Stenkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Staffan Joensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gert Stenkvist in the 55th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, FC Bors's Staffan Joensson threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gert Stenkvist, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 59 minutes into the game, Anders Forsell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Bors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Baxters Boys the free kick. A collision led to FC Bors getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Anders Forsell hit a great ball. Sotirios Papagiannopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Renato Vidal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Uzay Gencalp's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. After 66 minutes FC Bors's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sotirios Papagiannopoulos who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to FC Bors getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Magne Ek hit a great ball. After 68 played minutes FC Bors got a freekick which was hit by Magne Ek. 70 minutes into the match, FC Bors's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Olof Bergendahl came free, but Renato Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baxters Boys's Staffan Joensson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Baxters Boys from getting a goal against them. Renato Vidal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Guidetti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven-Ove Tillman kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the game, Sven-Ove Tillman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Staffan Joensson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 82nd minute, John Guidetti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Renato Vidal was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Jan-Olof Bergendahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renato Vidal having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Baxters Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Gert Stenkvist came free, but Staffan Joensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Baxters Boys's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sven-Ove Tillman was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Bors's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on FC Bors's corner Sven-Ove Tillman fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Staffan Joensson quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Bors's Magne Ek got a free kick in the 91st minute. After 92 minutes of play, Baxters Boys's Jan-Olof Bergendahl made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Renato Vidal was left in no man's land by his defense there! For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Bors players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Baxters Boys.
