The supporters of PINGO PINGO booed when AEK FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars-Erik Angvik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raul Isias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half PINGO PINGO were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alvaro Micarelli to strike the kick off in the second half. Kenneth Knudsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Omar Asad in the 51st minute.
