Victorio Fontaner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vicens Brzovic's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Armando Lixandro firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 36th minute of the match, Roland Lavín tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Armando Lixandro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Plaza Jewell's Armando Lixandro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rexino Botero in the 40th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cerilo Chirinos got free with Armando Lixandro in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. During the 45th minute of the match José Julio Recalde completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave José Julio Recalde a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Toqui Fc's José Julio Recalde got a free kick in the 46th minute. Toqui Fc's Victorio Fontaner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Orlondo in the 47th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vicens Brzovic to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Toqui Fc's Vicens Brzovic sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armando Lixandro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Armando Lixandro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victorio Fontaner came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Plaza Jewell's Armando Azibar. But to his dismay, Armando Azibar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Toqui Fc's Victorio Fontaner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Azibar in the 75th minute of play. Toqui Fc's Paulín Schaub was substituted for Vicens Brzovic. After taking down the ball on Toqui Fc's corner Paulín Schaub fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Armando Lixandro quite easily take care of the ball. Toqui Fc's Victorio Fontaner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Azibar in the 90th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Victorio Fontaner successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Victorio Fontaner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Azibar, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Roland Lavín charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roland Lavín the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Plaza Jewell booed when Toqui Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rexino Botero didn't get a good kick on the ball.
