With a couple of smart ball manuevers Efrain Cresconio in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juvenal Sergipano saved CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE from getting behind. After 15 played minutes Defensores de Lombroso got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Kaiet. Jonas Fonseca took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Loco Gatti. Defensores de Lombroso's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Yanaki Kodrov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juvenal Sergipano having to interfere. After 22 minutes, Yanaki Kodrov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Defensores de Lombroso and the CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd minute, Yanaki Kodrov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Allan Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Allan Nascimento couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Juvenal Sergipano got control of the ball when Celso Sauveur tried to sneak it across the goal line. Defensores de Lombroso's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Efrain Cresconio in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juvenal Sergipano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Allan Nascimento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Loco Gatti made a huge save. In the 57th minute, Tzvetomir Gruykin made a precise shot to the right of Loco Gatti. Defensores de Lombroso's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Defensores de Lombroso's Loco Gatti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murilo Quirino in the 63rd minute of play. Juvenal Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yanaki Kodrov in the 66th minute of the match. Efrain Cresconio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tzvetomir Gruykin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Loco Gatti made a huge save. When Defensores de Lombroso's Efrain Cresconio in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's goalie prevented a goal. In the 81st match minute, Defensores de Lombroso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Ostargi to maneuver through the defense.
