In the 6th minute Hermengildo Nesor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zabulón Carabajal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dennis Beerthuis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zinon Potamias in the 7th minute of the match. In the 11th match minute, FC Klavertje Vier was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaspar Westelinx to maneuver through the defense. In the 12thth minute of the game Hermengildo Nesor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Klavertje Vier's Zabulón Carabajal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dennis Beerthuis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philipp Van Kestbeek in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute Iwan Marchefka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Beerthuis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Winthont FC defense, Philipp Van Kestbeek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dennis Beerthuis. The Winthont FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dennis Beerthuis should have stopped the shot. If Hermengildo Nesor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Hermengildo Nesor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zabulón Carabajal was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Zabulón Carabajal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermengildo Nesor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Winthont FC's Henrique Ramalho got a free kick in the 34th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zinon Potamias to make the kick off. Dennis Beerthuis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zinon Potamias, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. A throw-in in the 56th minute of the game was made by Jaspar Westelinx with Joery Hylen as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After a defensive mix-up in Winthont FC's zone, Philipp Van Kestbeek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dennis Beerthuis came out of the goal and Philipp Van Kestbeek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hermengildo Nesor in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zabulón Carabajal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zabulón Carabajal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Nesor in the 63rd minute of the match. Zabulón Carabajal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Nesor, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Nesor in the 69th minute of play forced FC Klavertje Vier's goalkeeper Zabulón Carabajal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pascal Zalm might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zabulón Carabajal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pascal Zalm ran back to his position shaking his head. Zabulón Carabajal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascal Zalm in the 90th minute of play. Dennis Beerthuis was a little too slow when Zinon Potamias got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 0-3. When the match was over FC Klavertje Vier could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Winthont FC throughout the match.
