After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FFC Merainies 03! FFC Merainies 03:s Gregor Compaan showed great skill when he stopped Gustavo Amorim:s penalty. Frans Geurtsen did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Cássio Baptista 9 minutes into the match. Cássio Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Max Duinhoven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th match minute, Terceirense F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zarco Sarmento to maneuver through the defense. Gregor Compaan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albertino Brites's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Gregor Compaan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albertino Brites, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Cássio Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max Duinhoven in the 34th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as FFC Merainies 03's Rafael van Zeggeren slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cássio Baptista. That made the score 2-0 after 36 minutes of play. Gregor Compaan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertino Brites in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Rafael van Zeggeren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gregor Compaan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albertino Brites's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Cássio Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frans Geurtsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albertino Brites to strike the kick off in the second half. Albertino Brites might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gregor Compaan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albertino Brites ran back to his position shaking his head. Cássio Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frans Geurtsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 60 minutes, Nigel Beerthuis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FFC Merainies 03 and the Terceirense F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nigel Beerthuis kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Nigel Beerthuis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gregor Compaan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noel Castanheira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Terceirense F.C. made a substitution. Mário Gameiro replaced Fabien Raillard. Noel Castanheira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Gregor Compaan made a huge save. After taking down the ball on Terceirense F.C.'s corner Gustavo Amorim fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gregor Compaan quite easily take care of the ball. Noel Castanheira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Terceirense F.C.'s attentive Nicolas Guerreiro managed to snatch the ball when Jarne Bemmel made a throw-in in the 86th minute of the game. Noel Castanheira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gregor Compaan having to make a save. After 88 played minutes FFC Merainies 03 got a freekick which was hit by Max Duinhoven. In the 90th match minute, FFC Merainies 03 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Max Duinhoven to maneuver through the defense. Gregor Compaan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noel Castanheira in the 92nd minute of play. Rafael van Zeggeren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cássio Baptista having to interfere. FFC Merainies 03 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
