The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Nacional's zone, Zézinho Rossi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juaneizu Merida came out of the goal and Zézinho Rossi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Hormilla in the 9th minute of play forced 27 de Mayo's goalkeeper Falcão Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, 27 de Mayo's Hélder Severo got a free kick in the 9th minute. 27 de Mayo's Falcão Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Hormilla in the 14th minute of play. After 16th play minutes Efrain Hormilla shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Falcão Leme and just under the crossbar into goal. Nacional's Juaneizu Merida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zézinho Rossi in the 19th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Felipe Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Falcão Leme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efrain Hormilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, 27 de Mayo's goal looked a bit too open when Niolaao Viya came free, but Falcão Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Hormilla in the 29th minute of play forced 27 de Mayo's goalkeeper Falcão Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Falcão Leme came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Nacional's Efrain Hormilla. But to his dismay, Efrain Hormilla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. If Zézinho Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nacional's goalkeeper Juaneizu Merida, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 37 played minutes 27 de Mayo got a freekick which was hit by Hélder Severo. When 吴常响 fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 27 de Mayo's protests and gave 吴常响 a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th match minute, 27 de Mayo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 吴常响 to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Efrain Hormilla in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Falcão Leme saved 27 de Mayo from getting behind. In the 44th minute Efrain Hormilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hélder Severo during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nacional made a substitution. Felipe Melo replaced Joseph Gayoso. Hélder Severo hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tiago Corrêa to strike the kick off in the second half. Luciano Inverso who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Falcão Leme when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Nacional's zone, Zézinho Rossi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juaneizu Merida came out of the goal and Zézinho Rossi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 de Mayo made a substitution. Alex Castro replaced Bebeto Branco. Falcão Leme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Hormilla in the 59th minute of play. Hélder Severo hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Juaneizu Merida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Castro in the 70th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Nacional's Efrain Hormilla slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Falcão Leme. That made the score 1-3 after 73 minutes of play. After 76 played minutes Nacional got a freekick which was hit by Phelipe Mesia. Juaneizu Merida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 83 minutes into the match, 27 de Mayo's goal looked a bit too open when Chumo Palmero came free, but Falcão Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When 27 de Mayo's Tiago Corrêa in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nacional's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Nacional getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Niolaao Viya hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute, Hélder Severo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Nacional players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
