Cisco Rubial dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Javiero Velunza made in the 13th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Alberto Alda. Bandit Sial scored 0-2 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cisco Rubial, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Begu Ganjang booed when AFC United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Alda didn't get a good kick on the ball. AFC United's Cisco Rubial played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sondang Prabowo in the 22nd minute of play. Cisco Rubial showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sondang Prabowo, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 24th match minute, Begu Ganjang was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bandit Sial to maneuver through the defense. Bambang Sagala made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Alda in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, Begu Ganjang's Joko Suryana got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 35th minute, Bandit Sial hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Archibaldo Ahumada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bambang Sagala read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in AFC United's zone, Sondang Prabowo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cisco Rubial came out of the goal and Sondang Prabowo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cisco Rubial showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sondang Prabowo, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sondang Prabowo in the 46th minute of play forced AFC United's goalkeeper Cisco Rubial to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind AFC United's goalkeeper Cisco Rubial, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Javiero Velunza charged in rather forcefully in the 49th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Javiero Velunza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Joko Suryana hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Archibaldo Ahumada made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Sondang Prabowo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cisco Rubial saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Javiero Velunza got his second yellow card in the match during the 61st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 62 played minutes AFC United got a freekick which was hit by Javiero Velunza. Begu Ganjang's Tri Pradnyana was substituted for Butet Panjaitan. Begu Ganjang's Dewa Drible was substituted for Aang Krishna. Aang Krishna kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Joko Suryana hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. With a little luck, AFC United's Cisco Rubial got control of the ball when Bandit Kampus tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, AFC United's Archibaldo Ahumada got a free kick in the 88th minute. After 90 minutes of play, Begu Ganjang's Sondang Prabowo made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cisco Rubial was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cisco Rubial made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sondang Prabowo in the 93rd minute. Begu Ganjang's Bandit Sial quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Archibaldo Ahumada, made in the 95th minute of the game. In the 95th minute, Nicky Butt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Begu Ganjang's Joko Suryana got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 97 minutes into the game, Aristides Belandia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFC United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Begu Ganjang the free kick. Aristides Belandia hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The Begu Ganjang players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
