Spectators: 7981 (Terracing: 5987, Seating: 1835, VIP seats: 159) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Csongor Csorba kicked off to start the match. Atlético Micaelense's Alexandre Paixão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Levente Makkai in the 5th minute of play. After having played for 8 minutes, Ede Szénási managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Szajk LC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ede Szénási was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Levente Makkai dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alexandre Paixão, 1-0. The supporters of Atlético Micaelense booed when Szajk LC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ottó Medve didn't get a good kick on the ball. Özdemir Babayiğit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horácio Aveiro in the 26th minute of play. Salvador Vale hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Atlético Micaelense's Alexandre Paixão got control of the ball when Csongor Csorba tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rd minute of the match Szajk LC got a corner. Atlético Micaelense's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Agustin Lidon ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 46th minute, Horácio Aveiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alcides Lobo to make the kick off. Alexandre Paixão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Csongor Csorba in the 63rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Atlético Micaelense defense, Levente Makkai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alexandre Paixão. The Atlético Micaelense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexandre Paixão should have stopped the shot. Szajk LC's Özdemir Babayiğit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horácio Aveiro in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Csongor Csorba in the 74th minute of play forced Atlético Micaelense's goalkeeper Alexandre Paixão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexandre Paixão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignác Pucheli, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Alexandre Paixão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Levente Makkai in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Csongor Csorba in the 84th minute of play forced Atlético Micaelense's goalkeeper Alexandre Paixão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Özdemir Babayiğit made an important save on a dangerous shot by Horácio Aveiro in the 89th minute. Alexandre Paixão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignác Pucheli in the 95th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Szajk LC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Atlético Micaelense had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
