In the 19th minute, Segundo Shepherd ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teodoro Jeraldo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The audience was convinced that Ermegildo Tavio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teodoro Jeraldo was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Roy Peto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 27th minute, Cristian Nofre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, Barsa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Tavio came free, but Teodoro Jeraldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Segundo Shepherd struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Teodoro Jeraldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El retorno del Pincha. 36 minutes into the match, Arturo Baladi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teodoro Jeraldo. Barsa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arturo Baladi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Norberto Estevon's late challenge caught a El retorno del Pincha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Norberto Estevon helped the player get up and apologised. Norberto Estevon hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Teodoro Jeraldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Baladi in the 41st minute of play. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barsa FC's goalkeeper Teodoro Jeraldo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Teodoro Jeraldo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ermegildo Tavio went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Norberto Estevon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Norberto Estevon was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 51 minutes had been played. Norberto Estevon kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Roy Peto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosendo Gorri, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 58 minutes into the game, El retorno del Pincha's Arturo Baladi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teodoro Jeraldo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antim Drashanski in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roy Peto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Barsa FC's Teodoro Jeraldo got control of the ball when Segundo Shepherd tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 69th minute Augusto Asteri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Jeraldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roy Peto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antim Drashanski, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Barsa FC's goalkeeper Teodoro Jeraldo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augusto Asteri. El retorno del Pincha's Roy Peto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosendo Gorri in the 75th minute of play. Arturo Baladi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teodoro Jeraldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arturo Baladi in the 79th minute. Roy Peto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antim Drashanski in the 87th minute of play. Placido Hotz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roy Peto having to interfere. After 91 played minutes Barsa FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Nofre. Eloy Pereyra hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. When Segundo Shepherd came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the El retorno del Pincha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Segundo Shepherd couldn't finish the play. The Barsa FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. El retorno del Pincha were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
