The crowd rose to their feet as Scott Sterling kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Viktor Kjellman. That made the score 1-1 in the 47 minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Harry Boumans stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mattias Svahn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Runa United's Anttoni Salmelainen got a free kick in the 55th minute. Viktor Kjellman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Svahn in the 56th minute of play. Runa United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Kurdistan the free kick. In the 72nd minute, Louis Melin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Kurdistan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Lange was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 85 played minutes FC Kurdistan got a freekick which was hit by Billy Dahlqvist. Felix Åberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvard Rydelius in the 97th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Kurdistan had won after a very even match.
