When Harry Boumans fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Runa United's protests and gave Harry Boumans a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes Runa United got a freekick which was hit by Harry Boumans. Runa United's Viktor Kjellman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Runa United from getting a goal against them. In the 5th minute, Grant Grant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guilherme Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miromir Lamczyk in the 6th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johannes Alfors in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guilherme Veiga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 14 minutes of play, Runa United's Johannes Alfors made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guilherme Veiga was left in no man's land by his defense there! Viktor Kjellman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrick Ludwig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Johannes Alfors fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guilherme Veiga having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Romeo Raulo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Viktor Kjellman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Guilherme Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harry Boumans in the 24th minute of play. After 25 played minutes Racing Miami Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Curt Boggs. The Runa United fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Runa United's Harry Boumans looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Racing Miami Futbol Club booed when Runa United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Alfors didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romeo Raulo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Viktor Kjellman made a huge save. In the 44th match minute, Racing Miami Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grant Grant to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Racing Miami Futbol Club made a substitution. Rolland Kellogg replaced Amadeu Matos. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Harry Boumans made a kick off. Viktor Kjellman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Raulo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romeo Raulo scored 2-3 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Viktor Kjellman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 58th minute, Harry Boumans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guilherme Veiga was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Guilherme Veiga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Racing Miami Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Chance Adams was substituted for Romeo Raulo. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Trey Echols was substituted for Rodrick Ludwig. If Johannes Alfors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the game, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Chance Adams nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Viktor Kjellman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. 77 minutes in the game, Trey Echols dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 80th minute Trey Echols shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Kjellman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, Chance Adams ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Viktor Kjellman was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-4. Viktor Kjellman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chance Adams in the 92nd minute of play. Nathanial Coppack was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 93 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, Nathanial Coppack hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes in the game Miromir Lamczyk got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Racing Miami Futbol Club succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Runa United had controlled the match.
