Dorian Valladares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vachon Sánchez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Warren FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Tomás Romero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bart Claveau. The referee ignored Lunar Park's protests and gave Mathis Huet a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Lunar Park getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Mathis Huet hit a great ball. Léo Pereira hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Tomás Romero made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Bart Claveau sent off a good shot on target.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bart Claveau stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bart Claveau blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomás Romero having to make a save. Tomás Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bart Claveau in the 55th minute of play. Vachon Sánchez made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Bernardinho Passos sent off a good shot on target. Bart Claveau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Romero having to interfere. Despite this Tomás Romero quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 77 minutes into the match, Lunar Park's goalkeeper Vachon Sánchez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardinho Passos. After some careless play in the Lunar Park defense, Dorian Valladares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vachon Sánchez. The Lunar Park fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vachon Sánchez should have stopped the shot. Warren FC - DMZ made a substitution. Ni Feng Nan replaced Dorian Valladares. Robin Lebleu hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, Ni Feng Nan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Warren FC - DMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Warren FC - DMZ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
