The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ruben Efraim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chad Smith, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by Reyes F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cesinha Vargas was slow to take the kick. During this time BK Skjold's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Cesinha Vargas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ruben Efraim quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Reyes F.C. booed when BK Skjold was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chad Smith didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12thth minute of the game Cláudio Botelho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Reyes F.C.'s Ruben Efraim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Reyes F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cesinha Vargas came free, but Ruben Efraim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruben Efraim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesinha Vargas in the 16th minute of the match. Franck Abildvang kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Chad Smith sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cláudio Botelho in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ruben Efraim, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cláudio Botelho in the 23rd minute of play forced Reyes F.C.'s goalkeeper Ruben Efraim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chad Smith's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruben Efraim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dante Loramendi to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Reyes F.C.'s zone, Cesinha Vargas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruben Efraim came out of the goal and Cesinha Vargas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the match, Cesinha Vargas notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Reyes F.C.'s Ruben Efraim. Ruben Efraim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ruben Efraim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cláudio Botelho in the 66th minute of the match. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by Reyes F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cesinha Vargas was slow to take the kick. During this time BK Skjold's players had a chance to rest. Chad Smith might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ruben Efraim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chad Smith ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 78th minute Chad Smith shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Efraim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domingo Weather recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ruben Efraim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesinha Vargas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cesinha Vargas scored 2-1 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ruben Efraim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 87th minute Cláudio Botelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Efraim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reyes F.C.'s Ruben Efraim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loco Fenomeno in the 88th minute of play. Dante Loramendi came free with the goalkeeper in the 91st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Benne Verdonk could save by the left post. Chad Smith fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Efraim having to interfere. Chad Smith sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. BK Skjold had played much better football throughout.
