The audience thought a goal was coming when Zbyszek Gondela got free with Maraman Reitsma in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maraman Reitsma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbyszek Gondela in the 9th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Elsevär Reitsma notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of SuRpRiSe's Mieszko Olchowy. Mieszko Olchowy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Ágætis Byrjun getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Abraham Sluis hit a great ball. Maraman Reitsma acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 16th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Lucian Corduneanu. With a little luck, Ágætis Byrjun's Maraman Reitsma got control of the ball when Zbyszek Gondela tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feddo Reitsma in the 27th minute of play forced SuRpRiSe's goalkeeper Mieszko Olchowy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ágætis Byrjun getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Laurens Reitsma hit a great ball. The supporters of Ágætis Byrjun booed when SuRpRiSe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juliusz Ranowiecki didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zbyszek Gondela in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maraman Reitsma saved Ágætis Byrjun from getting behind. After the first half Ágætis Byrjun were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elsevär Reitsma stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Ágætis Byrjun was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Gerseke to maneuver through the defense. Lucian Corduneanu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 51st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Maraman Reitsma. Ágætis Byrjun's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 55th minute, Zbyszek Gondela made a precise shot to the right of Maraman Reitsma. Ágætis Byrjun's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Mieszko Olchowy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elsevär Reitsma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes in the game, Elsevär Reitsma dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Przemyslaw Nowakowski made in the 62nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Dawid Siwy however managed to control. Jur Reitsma hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Maraman Reitsma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbyszek Gondela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute of the game Przemyslaw Nowakowski made a throw-in which Juliusz Ranowiecki played forward. In the 71st minute Zbyszek Gondela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maraman Reitsma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, SuRpRiSe's Mieszko Olchowy got control of the ball when Feddo Reitsma tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maraman Reitsma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juliusz Ranowiecki in the 94th minute of the match. Ágætis Byrjun's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
