The throw-in from Philippe Philippe in the 17th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Green Madness's Vincent Delarue. 23 minutes into the match, PICCOLE PESTI's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Freitas came free, but Pitt Frøne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Green Madness fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that César Châtelain should have stopped the shot. César Châtelain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otto Fesik in the 43rd minute of play. In the 46th minute of the match PICCOLE PESTI got a corner. Green Madness's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Armando Piacentini ran over to the corner to take the kick. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Otto Fesik to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Green Madness's zone, Otto Fesik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. César Châtelain came out of the goal and Otto Fesik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 57 minutes Green Madness's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Armando Piacentini who took care of the corner kick. 72 minutes into the match, Biagio Volta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of César Châtelain. Green Madness's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Biagio Volta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Green Madness made a substitution. Léon Cailleaux replaced Marcel Freitas. PICCOLE PESTI's Long Dong was substituted for Ange Di Maria. After a defensive mix-up in Green Madness's zone, Carmine Righi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. César Châtelain came out of the goal and Carmine Righi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. César Châtelain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmine Righi, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 86th match minute, Green Madness was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claude Theron to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute, Kevan Machu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carmine Righi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but César Châtelain read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Green Madness's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Armando Piacentini was slow to take the kick. During this time PICCOLE PESTI's players had a chance to rest. The corner led PICCOLE PESTI's Biagio Volta to fire away a dangerous shot which César Châtelain despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Green Madness's goal looked a bit too open when Carmine Righi came free, but César Châtelain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PICCOLE PESTI's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
