In the 2nd minute, one of Torino SSA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Torino SSA. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Lindberg in the 5th minute of play forced FC Fura Balizas's goalkeeper Carlos Beaton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Beaton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Linhares, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Carlos Beaton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herbert Lindberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16thth minute of the game Guilherme Rauh who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Fura Balizas's Carlos Beaton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gastão Alcântara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Benjamin de Mendonça made a huge save. Carlos Beaton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luizão Loureiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute, Herbert Lindberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Torino SSA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Danilo Fidensio fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Fura Balizas's protests and gave Danilo Fidensio a yellow card for diving instead. After 30 played minutes FC Fura Balizas got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Fidensio. 34 minutes into the match, Eugeniusz Sanocki notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Torino SSA's Benjamin de Mendonça. Benjamin de Mendonça was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Torino SSA's zone, Eugeniusz Sanocki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin de Mendonça came out of the goal and Eugeniusz Sanocki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the match, Torino SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Eugeniusz Sanocki came free, but Benjamin de Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Eugeniusz Sanocki made the kick off in the second half. Guilherme Rauh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Beaton having to interfere. Eugeniusz Sanocki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benjamin de Mendonça read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Torino SSA's William Magalhães got a free kick in the 58th minute. Benjamin de Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugeniusz Sanocki, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After some careless play in the Torino SSA defense, Eugeniusz Sanocki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benjamin de Mendonça. Torino SSA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pascoal Antas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1.
