Seating: 1941, VIP seats: 168) After a rather tough play, KFC Cromvelde's Timmy Van Campenhout got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Stu Hislop was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 4th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Grant Blacknell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Dem, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Dem in the 7th minute of play forced Leicester Lions's goalkeeper Grant Blacknell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute Lucas Darling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kim Hendrickx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grant Blacknell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ali Dem's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Kim Hendrickx stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benny White's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Leicester Lions's Grant Blacknell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Dem in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camron Rhodes in the 14th minute of play forced KFC Cromvelde's goalkeeper Kim Hendrickx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Leicester Lions's Kim Hendrickx threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sebastien Clifford, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 20 minutes into the game, Leicester Lions's Lucas Darling nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kim Hendrickx made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Timmy Van Campenhout hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, Camron Rhodes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kim Hendrickx, 2-0. Leicester Lions's Grant Blacknell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Dem in the 39th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Leicester Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Dem came free, but Grant Blacknell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 played minutes, KFC Cromvelde's Sam Son shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Grant Blacknell came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in KFC Cromvelde reached it. In the 44th minute Camron Rhodes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kim Hendrickx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute of the match Leicester Lions got a corner. KFC Cromvelde's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stu Hislop ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alexander Cheetham made a great header on Leicester Lions's corner, it was just that KFC Cromvelde's Kim Hendrickx managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 47th minute, Mateo Kindermans left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KFC Cromvelde fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucas Darling to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Leicester Lions's goalkeeper Grant Blacknell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ali Dem. Benny White fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kim Hendrickx having to interfere. Grant Blacknell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Dem in the 71st minute of the match. Leicester Lions's Grant Blacknell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willem-Alexander Vercauteren in the 74th minute of play. Kim Hendrickx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benny White in the 78th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Leicester Lions's Lucas Darling sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kim Hendrickx narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Camron Rhodes scored 3-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kim Hendrickx, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leicester Lions's Alexander-James Ford was substituted for Alexander Cheetham. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateo Kindermans got free with Grant Blacknell in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mateo Kindermans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastien Clifford kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 94th minute Willem-Alexander Vercauteren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grant Blacknell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kim Hendrickx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şükür Hagi in the 97th minute of play. Leicester Lions's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
