The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Torbjörn Helander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deyver Sonn, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Deyver Sonn got free with Torbjörn Helander in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Merusca F&P's Pedro Gaspar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Casper Lundgren, made in the 6th minute of the game. If Deyver Sonn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 1910 Di Blåe's Torbjörn Helander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deyver Sonn in the 10th minute of play. After some careless play in the 1910 Di Blåe defense, Deyver Sonn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Torbjörn Helander. The 1910 Di Blåe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Torbjörn Helander should have stopped the shot. In the 13th minute, Edvin Landin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, 1910 Di Blåe's goalkeeper Torbjörn Helander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Deyver Sonn. The crowd rose to their feet as Merusca F&P's Deyver Sonn slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Torbjörn Helander. That made the score 2-0 after 20 minutes of play. Torbjörn Helander was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Deyver Sonn capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Deyver Sonn really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Roberto Nesta hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the match, Deyver Sonn had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Torbjörn Helander. 1910 Di Blåe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Deyver Sonn was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Thanks to some nice moves Deyver Sonn could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Torbjörn Helander however easily saved by the left post. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Deyver Sonn took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Torbjörn Helander to make any attempt to save it.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robert Hafström to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Betinho Romagnoli sped through 1910 Di Blåe's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Torbjörn Helander. In the 55th minute, one of 1910 Di Blåe:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for 1910 Di Blåe. Merusca F&P made a substitution. Reinaldo Aparecido replaced Nelsinho França. Torbjörn Helander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deyver Sonn in the 63rd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Merusca F&P's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Kvalfält came free, but Raúl Cabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Merusca F&P's Sérgio das Neves was substituted for Deyver Sonn. Merusca F&P made a substitution. Walmir Pontes replaced Betinho Romagnoli. Pedro Gaspar hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Walmir Pontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sérgio das Neves in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Torbjörn Helander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Sérgio das Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Merusca F&P's supporters rose to their feet, but Sérgio das Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torbjörn Helander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 86th minute Sérgio das Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torbjörn Helander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of 1910 Di Blåe booed when Merusca F&P was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Álvaro Pernambucano didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Douglas Håkansson from long distance, 88 minutes into the match, got Raúl Cabral's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Sven Enström hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind 1910 Di Blåe's goalkeeper Torbjörn Helander, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 1910 Di Blåe's Torbjörn Helander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walmir Pontes in the 94th minute of play. Lucas Kvalfält's late challenge caught a Merusca F&P's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucas Kvalfält helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to 1910 Di Blåe getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Lucas Kvalfält hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the Merusca F&P players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
