In the 43rd minute of the match, Gery Hamzah got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jean Van Damme was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After the first half StardustRevolution were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The StardustRevolution fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jean Van Damme should have stopped the shot.
