Unicorns ™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esparta FC the free kick. In the 3rd match minute, Unicorns ™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Şania to maneuver through the defense. Nunez Iraitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebiu Ştiubei in the 8th minute of play. Corneliu Vulpăşin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Álvaro Morata went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Corneliu Vulpăşin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Álvaro Morata in the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Teobaldo Berart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Unicorns ™'s Corneliu Vulpăşin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Unicorns ™ from getting a goal against them. Álvaro Morata might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Corneliu Vulpăşin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Álvaro Morata ran back to his position shaking his head. Manuel Blai was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 27 minutes into the match. Esparta FC:s Nunez Iraitz showed great skill when he stopped Iulian Buciu:s penalty. Corneliu Vulpăşin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernabe Hulberto went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Unicorns ™ booed when Esparta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Fidencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute of the game Albert Şania made a throw-in which Eusebiu Ştiubei played forward. Bernabe Hulberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 46 minutes into the match, Alex Răduț had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nunez Iraitz. Esparta FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alex Răduț was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Bernabe Hulberto made the kick off in the second half. Corneliu Vulpăşin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernabe Hulberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernabe Hulberto in the 60th minute of play forced Unicorns ™'s goalkeeper Corneliu Vulpăşin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iulian Buciu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nunez Iraitz having to interfere. Corneliu Vulpăşin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernabe Hulberto's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. The throw-in from Iacob Surdu in the 71st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Esparta FC's Jorge Fidencio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernabe Hulberto in the 72nd minute of play forced Unicorns ™'s goalkeeper Corneliu Vulpăşin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 75 minutes of play, Esparta FC's Bernabe Hulberto made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Corneliu Vulpăşin was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Unicorns ™ booed when Esparta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernabe Hulberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esparta FC's Bernabe Hulberto suffered a sore thigh after 85 minutes and couldn't finish the game. A collision led to Unicorns ™ getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Albert Şania hit a great ball. The Esparta FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
