Spectators: 7511 (Terracing: 5634, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Zacarias Llope took the kick off in the first half of the match. Yuri Djorkaeff took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eliseo Uxio. Eliseo Uxio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Eliseo Uxio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egídio Rodrigues in the 6th minute of the match. Guillermo Tulio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Amílton Paraíba. Poetass FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ernesto Mambru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amílton Paraíba having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Djorkaeff in the 14th minute of play forced PI FC's goalkeeper Eliseo Uxio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Yuri Djorkaeff had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eliseo Uxio. PI FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yuri Djorkaeff was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Eliseo Uxio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egídio Rodrigues in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th match minute, Poetass FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Garcia to maneuver through the defense. Amílton Paraíba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Llope in the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Modesto Felipo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Amílton Paraíba, passed just outside the right post. Ernani Mendes scored 0-4 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eliseo Uxio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Amílton Paraíba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Llope in the 37th minute of the match. Ernesto Mambru charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernesto Mambru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 38th match minute, PI FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Mambru to maneuver through the defense. Eliseo Uxio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ernani Mendes went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. 45 minutes into the game, Guillermo Tulio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PI FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Poetass FC the free kick. After 45 played minutes PI FC got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Tulio. If Ernani Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The wind increased when Ernani Mendes made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, PI FC's Ernesto Mambru got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After 54 minutes, Agnaldo Vieira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Poetass FC and the PI FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Poetass FC's Agnaldo Vieira got a free kick in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Poetass FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Mambru came free, but Amílton Paraíba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseo Uxio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yuri Djorkaeff, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Poetass FC's Amílton Paraíba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modesto Felipo in the 64th minute of play. A collision led to PI FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Zacarias Llope hit a great ball. Eliseo Uxio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernani Mendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Ernani Mendes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eliseo Uxio, 0-6. In the 73rd minute, Justino Bladi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliseo Uxio made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Egídio Rodrigues sent off a good shot on target. After 82 played minutes PI FC got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Mambru. In the 84th minute of the match, Egídio Rodrigues got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eliseo Uxio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 85 minutes into the game, Poetass FC's Yuri Djorkaeff nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eliseo Uxio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Eliseo Uxio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yuri Djorkaeff, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Egídio Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. PI FC's Eliseo Uxio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save PI FC from getting a goal against them. Yuri Djorkaeff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Eliseo Uxio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Poetass FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than PI FC.
