With a little luck, Tigres Ñacuñán FC's Basilio Ticho got control of the ball when Călin Pătrășconiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Patricio Donio hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Daniel Jienescu came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Tigres Ñacuñán FC's Elvio Pueblo. But to his dismay, Elvio Pueblo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. The GoalHunters supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing GoalHunters would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
