Aurelio Louis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yens Iansens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurelio Louis had in the 25thth minute some difficulties stopping Guilian Boffin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a rather tough play, Dutch Rebels's Pascal Vanhaeren got a free kick in the 28th minute. Desiderio Dalmai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dante De Smet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geronimo Loren in the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th minute Desiderio Dalmai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante De Smet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yens Iansens hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 51st minute, Geronimo Loren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Dutch Rebels's zone, Desiderio Dalmai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante De Smet came out of the goal and Desiderio Dalmai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55th minute Desiderio Dalmai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante De Smet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 56 played minutes Dutch Rebels got a freekick which was hit by Gustaaf Vranckx. Dante De Smet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Dalmai in the 56th minute of play. Dante De Smet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geronimo Loren's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. A collision led to Raker Futbol Club getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Celso Chabier hit a great ball. Desiderio Dalmai might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante De Smet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Desiderio Dalmai ran back to his position shaking his head. When Alan De Hond fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dutch Rebels's protests and gave Alan De Hond a yellow card for diving instead. After 70 played minutes Dutch Rebels got a freekick which was hit by Alan De Hond. The supporters of Dutch Rebels booed when Raker Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Handi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Desiderio Dalmai came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Raker Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Desiderio Dalmai couldn't finish the play. Celso Chabier's late challenge caught a Dutch Rebels's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celso Chabier helped the player get up and apologised. Nicasio Dolfo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Geronimo Loren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante De Smet was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. If Desiderio Dalmai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the game, Yens Iansens recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aurelio Louis. Yens Iansens showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2.
