Károly Tolnay started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes, Károly Tolnay made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Bograngen's Trần Qvick tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Trần Qvick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vince Sós in the 6th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Károly Tolnay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Trần Qvick was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Christian Håkansson's late challenge caught a Szombathely Squirrels's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 82ndth minute of the game Jonatan Kjellman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Szombathely Squirrels's Sebestyén Király was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 93rd minute, Géza Gál hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
