Vinicio Perico scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zoheir Chadl, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 8 minutes, Federico Regis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the OPERYS F.C and the Adab FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th minute, Federico Regis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Ahmed Tahar from long distance, 9 minutes into the match, got Justino Derwin's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 12th match minute, OPERYS F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorato Telo to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Adab FC's Justino Derwin threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Djamel Belloumi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, OPERYS F.C's Paulino Guib got a free kick in the 16th minute. Ahmed Tahar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Justino Derwin. OPERYS F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorato Telo in the 19th minute of play forced Adab FC's goalkeeper Zoheir Chadl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to OPERYS F.C getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Federico Regis hit a great ball. When Ahmed Tahar came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Adab FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmed Tahar couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, OPERYS F.C's Justino Derwin got control of the ball when Ahmed Tahar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Djamel Belloumi's late challenge caught a OPERYS F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Djamel Belloumi helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of OPERYS F.C booed when Adab FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Djamel Belloumi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zoheir Chadl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinicio Perico, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Adab FC's Zoheir Chadl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Perico in the 31st minute of play. Zoheir Chadl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorato Telo in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Viator in the 33rd minute of play forced Adab FC's goalkeeper Zoheir Chadl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. OPERYS F.C's Vinicio Perico got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th minute Honorato Telo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zoheir Chadl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Severiano Viator left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The OPERYS F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Zoheir Chadl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorato Telo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Djamel Belloumi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vinicio Perico to make the kick off. OPERYS F.C's Justino Derwin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abd al-Asis Lacen in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Djamel Belloumi in the 56th minute of play forced OPERYS F.C's goalkeeper Justino Derwin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Ahmed Tahar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Adab FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Adab FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Leonides Munio scored to the left of an out of position Zoheir Chadl, making the score, 1-3. Mouloud Morceli kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. If Leonides Munio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Adab FC's Zoheir Chadl got control of the ball when Honorato Telo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Cheb Sadmi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Adab FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cheb Sadmi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Justino Derwin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Justino Derwin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abd al-Asis Lacen in the 84th minute of the match. Vinicio Perico came free with the goalkeeper in the 87th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zoheir Chadl could save by the left post. After 87 minutes of play, OPERYS F.C's Honorato Telo made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zoheir Chadl was left in no man's land by his defense there! Justino Derwin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Djamel Belloumi in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Ahmed Tahar notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of OPERYS F.C's Justino Derwin. Justino Derwin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vinicio Perico got free with Zoheir Chadl in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The OPERYS F.C supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing OPERYS F.C would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
