Fausto Araújo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wictor Morat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fausto Araújo came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Bora Bora's Wictor Morat. But to his dismay, Wictor Morat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, Karl-Michael Örtlund dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fausto Araújo, 2-0. In the 11th minute, Olívio Valladares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Morgan Olofsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Torgny Albohm kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Bora Bora's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Gabriel Mello came free, but Morgan Olofsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fausto Araújo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Michael Örtlund in the 22nd minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Colombo A.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Wictor Morat came free, but Fausto Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torgny Albohm in the 31st minute of play forced Colombo A.C.'s goalkeeper Fausto Araújo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tiaguinho de Sousa during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 32nd minute, Tiaguinho de Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bora Bora's David Månsson shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 33rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Fausto Araújo but with some difficulty. Colombo A.C.'s Fausto Araújo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Colombo A.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 39th minute, Juan Vergílio made a precise shot to the right of Morgan Olofsson. Bora Bora's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After 41 played minutes Colombo A.C. got a freekick which was hit by Tiaguinho de Sousa. In the 42nd minute of the match Olof Falkrantz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fausto Araújo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vidar Pilberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Fausto Araújo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The wind increased when Wictor Morat made the kick off in the second half. Fausto Araújo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olof Falkrantz, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olof Falkrantz in the 54th minute of play forced Colombo A.C.'s goalkeeper Fausto Araújo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Per-Arne Högström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fausto Araújo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olof Falkrantz, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Zé Teles hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute of the match David Månsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fausto Araújo skillfully saved the ball. Karl-Michael Örtlund scored 3-2 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fausto Araújo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 67 played minutes Bora Bora got a freekick which was hit by Torsten Tinglöf. Morgan Olofsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Vergílio, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 71 minutes into the game, Torgny Albohm cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Fausto Araújo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Colombo A.C.'s Juan Vergílio was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 75th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The supporters of Bora Bora booed when Colombo A.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Gabriel Mello didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute of the match Torsten Tinglöf sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fausto Araújo skillfully saved the ball. Morgan Olofsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olívio Valladares in the 81st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olívio Valladares got free with Morgan Olofsson in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 82nd minute, Olívio Valladares made a precise shot to the right of Morgan Olofsson. Bora Bora's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-4. Fausto Araújo came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Bora Bora's Olof Falkrantz. But to his dismay, Olof Falkrantz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-4. Zé Teles kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Colombo A.C. defense, Vidar Pilberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fausto Araújo. The Colombo A.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fausto Araújo should have stopped the shot. Olívio Valladares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bora Bora had played much better football throughout.
