Urutu F.C.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when João Vítor Porto 10 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Luís Malheiro hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the JOVENS DE OURO FC defense, Luís Malheiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aírton Monteiro. The JOVENS DE OURO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aírton Monteiro should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viveque Savimbi in the 24th minute of play forced JOVENS DE OURO FC's goalkeeper Aírton Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Paulo Lira succeeded in the game's 25th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. Aírton Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viveque Savimbi in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Adrianinho Dionísio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maurício Varanda. Aírton Monteiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! The first half was very even, with the score at 4-4 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Adrianinho Dionísio made the kick off in the second half. Miguel Regalado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aírton Monteiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by JOVENS DE OURO FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luís Malheiro was slow to take the kick. During this time Urutu F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The supporters of JOVENS DE OURO FC booed when Urutu F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Malheiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maurício Varanda came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by JOVENS DE OURO FC's José Paulo Lira. But to his dismay, José Paulo Lira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-4. With an all-out effort, Urutu F.C.'s Aírton Monteiro threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zé Lando, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Viveque Savimbi scored 5-5 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aírton Monteiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 78 minutes into the match, Viveque Savimbi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aírton Monteiro. Adrianinho Dionísio charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrianinho Dionísio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 84 played minutes JOVENS DE OURO FC got a freekick which was hit by Adrianinho Dionísio. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Vítor Porto in the 92nd minute of play forced Urutu F.C.'s goalkeeper Maurício Varanda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, JOVENS DE OURO FC's Adrianinho Dionísio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maurício Varanda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Urutu F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
